What a wonderful find! An Original Hattie Carnegie Rooster Brooch/Pendant in a
Faux Coral Color. These brooches were also available in faux jade, faux ivory
and the iconic red, yellow and black colors and were made around the late 50's
to early 60's. This coral color brooch is made of a thick carved lucite plastic
and gold tone gilt metal that highlights the carved details to make them pop! A
single rhinestone makes the rooster's eye just sparkle. There is a pin on the
back along with a bale for the lightweight gold tone chain that is included.
This chain looks to be the original but not 100% positive.
The back of this brooch is signed Hattie Carnegie along with the copyright
logo. What a magnificent addition this would make to any collection. Brooch
measures approximately 3.25 x 2.25 and is in beautiful condition. Chain
measures approximately 9.5 inches in length.
