snake-shaped toggle clasp formed by a snake holding its tail in its mouth. The
snake's body is made of two strands of Portuguese cork accented by bright,
shiny rainbow colors. The ouroboros (a Greek word meaning tail-devourer), is
traditionally a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. It is an ancient
depiction of eternity, cyclical endings and beginnings, and re-creation. In
addition to tracing its roots to ancient times, the ouroboros is important in
religious and mythological symbolism, and has also been used in alchemical
illustrations. Plus, it's just pretty darn cool.

This rainbow snake bracelet features a snake clasp that extends on the
head-end around the side of your wrist as the bracelet wraps two times around
your wrist. The snake scale details on the silver tone clasp will surely charm
you, as they contrast nicely with the shimmery colors on the flexible cork that
forms the body of the snake. Wrap it on and enjoy this fun accessory!

This bracelet is made-to-order, so please feel free to customize your bracelet
by selecting your preferred circumference of the bracelet, once it is wrapped
twice around your wrist. Note that this will not be the total length, as the
bracelet is designed to wrap twice around your wrist before clasping; instead,
the length you select should reflect the finished inner circumference of the
fully wrapped bracelet. You will probably want to measure your own wrist to
determine the size you would like, based on how tight you like to wear your
bracelets. A "medium" women's size is approximately 7".

Please be aware that cork has a natural odor that can be described as a bit
musty, which you may notice when you first open the mailing package. Don't
worry, though - any residual smell will eventually dissipate once your bracelet
is no longer enclosed in a sealed environment and you begin to wear it and
enjoy it.
