a suggestion:

Little girl ( 2 yrs- 5 yrs ): 5.5 inches
Girl ( 7 yrs- 12 yrs ): 6 inches
Teen and Petite Adult: 6.5 inches
Most common: 7 inches
Medium adult: 7.5 inches
Large adult: 8 inches
XL adult: 8.5 inches
