Pin with a Scottish Flair

This old pin measures 2 inches long and about 0.25 inches wide.

I believe this pin might be a gentleman’s old tie pin. However, it could be a
woman’s collar or lapel pin.

It came from my Scottish side of the family and I do see a bit of the Highland
theme with the enameled blue flowers, green leaves on a white background.

The back is gold-tone metal.

The pin does not stay closed well and needs to be tightened, if possible. If
it is used through a thin fabric it might be too loose. It would probably hold
well on a tie that is of thicker material or the lapel of a coat.
